ANIMAL BIOLOGY
You will learn biology and have the chance to put your theoretical knowledge into practice by working with wild and domesticated animals in hands-on situations.

ANIMAL SCIENCE
You will learn about domestic animal biology and use while caring for animals and preparing for careers in veterinary medicine, production, business, research, or teaching.

ANIMAL SCIENCE AND MANAGEMENT
You will learn animal science along with marketing, economics, and accounting, building the skills it takes to succeed in the business world and careers working with animals.

AVIAN SCIENCES
You will learn about bird biology while working with wild, companion, and production birds, preparing for careers in veterinary medicine, production, and conservation.

BIOTECHNOLOGY
You will learn about genes and the life processes they direct while preparing for an exciting career enhancing human health, food security, and environmental quality.

ENTOMOLOGY

ENVIRONMENTAL HORTICULTURE AND URBAN FORESTRY

Learn about how plants improve our everyday lives and the many roles they play in human environments.


ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY, ANALYSIS AND PLANNING
You will learn how to analyze environmental policies, their political and economic constraints, and build skills for careers in government, nonprofits and law/consulting.

HYDROLOGY
You will learn about the circulation, distribution, and behavior of water and pollutants, and build skills to meet the challenge of sustaining water quantity and quality.

LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE
Learn to design open spaces, parks, and neighborhoods, and gain skills for creative problem solving while visualizing spaces and 3-D concepts. Fully accredited.


WILDLIFE, FISH, AND CONSERVATION BIOLOGY

Study how wild animal populations are impacted by human activities while gaining the hands-on skills for a career in wildlife and conservation biology.

Psychiatrist-philanthropist gives $1 million for infancy studies

Dr. Robert Dorn, a Davis psychiatrist who devoted his career to understanding and treating mental health problems that originate in the earliest years of life, has given $1 million to support infant development research at UC Davis.
